Can product failures be avoided?

During 2018, leading international reliability experts will enter Danish ground on several occasions to discuss product reliability and the physics of failure. Don't miss the next occasion at the upcoming ARDC conference in Copenhagen. See how you participate in this newsletter.

In this issue of Agenda, we also give you inspiration on how to get started using IIoT on a practical level, and update you on the strict requirements of MIL-standards for electronic products.

Enjoy your reading.

LEGISLATION AND STANDARDS

EMC and MIL standards – the heavyweights

Complex and costly electronic equipment and systems must often fulfil strict requirements, for example to meet MIL standards. When choosing what sections of the MIL standards you wish to test your equipment up against, there are a number of aspects concerning immunity and EMC that you need to consider.

RELIABILITY

Denmark is the centre of reliability in 2018

In 2018, Denmark is the centre within the field of reliability of electronic products. No less than three major conferences will be held on Danish soil, making it easier for product developers and engineering professionals to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and exchange experiences with international peers.

CALIBRATION

Broad measuring range within vacuum calibration

Freeze-drying processes demand tight control of cabinet pressure to ensure products are freeze-dried correctly. This requires vacuum gauges calibrated in a broad range. FORCE Technology has recently been accreditet by DANAK and can now conduct vacuum calibration from high vacuum and to atmospheric pressure. This makes our laboratory unique in Denmark and competitive with foreign laboratories.
