Season's greetings from DELTA
Suddenly December has arrived with Christmas preparations and vigorous activities to complete tasks before New Year. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.

In 2016, new directives enter into force within EMC, radio equipment and electrical safety. In DELTA's professional clubs we update the members on the new directives, so that they know what to do in order for their products to comply with the new rules. Right now DELTA’s clubs are open for new members. Read more below.

Happy reading – see you in 2016

Danfoss products are fully tested
Mechanical tests such as tensile, load, and creep tests are used by Danfoss to verify their components during product development. This provides fast and practical answers, which speeds up the development process.
Does your product meet current standards?
Most products, and especial medical devices, must conform with many requirements prior to market launch. It may be standards that dictate requirements for the product's specifications (product standards), but just as often it may be requirements for how the product is developed (process standards).
Vibrations power tomorrow's IoT devices
Small wireless battery driven devices for monitoring purposes, such as in air conditioning systems, alarm systems and industrial monitoring systems, are often limited in their functionality and range of application because of limited battery lifetime and subsequent service and maintenance requirements.

Several solutions meet the battery lifetime requirements by instead harvesting energy from the surroundings.
ETV - Environmental Technology Verification - promotes international marketing of green technologies
Environmental technology and green energy are two fields in which Denmark leads the way, and which generate a lot of Danish exports. From 2013 to 2014, Denmark's exports of green energy technologies increased by 15 % to DKK 44 billion. However, there is potential for more.
TECH Document 10: Emission measurement in reverberation chamber
Faster methods for emission measurements
DELTA has recently begun using reverberation chamber to study emissions from electrical products. This TECH Document explains what is possible to do in a reverberation chamber and the possible advantages and disadvantages.

TECH Document 10 briefly describes the theory of how a reverberation chamber works, how it can be used to uncover emission characteristics, Finally some examples are presented of how it can be used in a product development process.
