A new year with new directives
I hope all DELTA Agenda readers have started 2016 in happy spirits and are ready to participate in the many exciting events that will take place throughout 2016.

New rules and regulations will also become effective during 2016. For product developers it makes sense to keep yourself up-to-date regarding the new EU directives covering EMC, radio equipment and electrical safety. Read more about this topic in this month’s issue of DELTA Agenda.

Enjoy your reading!

New directives in 2016
The electronics and apparatus industry is active.
2015 was an active year for the industry. We have experienced many new products in the laboratories, which have been made ready for testing both as part of the R&D work and as end-tests after the conclusion of the development process.
The Environmental Protection Agency has chosen DELTA as Reference Laboratory on environmental noise
When new industries, roads, and railways are built, it is important to handle noise issues upfront. The Environmental Protection Agency's reference laboratory controls the quality of the analysis and measurements performed by the approved noise laboratories.
DELTA achieves prestigious accreditation as Technical Service
Danish automotive developers and manufacturers have for some years, had the opportunity to test their electronic components and systems against the E marking requirements at DELTA’s EMC laboratory in Aarhus. DELTA has succeeded in becoming the first and only EMC laboratory in Scandinavia, to be approved as Technical Service by the German authority KBA. Danish automotive manufacturers now have the opportunity to have their products E1 marked via DELTA.
When it's time for the big hammer
Insight into the function of electronics
Electronics takes care of more and more small everyday activities, which we have, over time, gotten used to operating completely on their own. The door to the supermarket opens itself, your smartphone connects to a familiar network and picks up positions and messages, cars are fitted with distance radars so that they can stop automatically in an emergency situation, and an airbag is always fully ready to inflate and save lives in the event of a collision.
