Quisling - The Final Days
A psychological drama about the infamous Vidkun Quisling, Prime Minister of Norway, a notorious Nazi collaborator and responsible for one of the greatest betrayals during World War II. The film stars Gard B. Eidsvold (Beforeigners, 2022) and Anders Danielsen Lie (The Worst Person in the World, 2021) in the leading roles as Vidkun Quisling and the priest Peder Olsen respectively. With the story of Quisling’s last days, we get a condensed insight into a psychological and claustrophobic battle about truth and lies, faith and doubt.
The Norwegian, Vidkun Quisling was so synonymous with helping the enemy that his name made it into English dictionaries. Deservedly so, as Quisling asked Hitler to occupy Norway and was functioning as Prime Minister of Norway when Hitler did just that. When the German occupation of Norway ended after five years, it was time for rebuilding and healing, but Quisling had to be held accountable for his war crimes.

The Arctic Convoy
In 1941, Hitler's war machine seemed unstoppable. The Germans invade the Soviet Union, and the situation looks dire. To prevent further losses, the Allies are forced to help. Convoys of civilian cargo ships filled to the brim with war material and began the perilous journey to Murmansk and Arkhangelsk.

35 ships set off on what is supposed to be the safest convoy, but due to catastrophic mistakes by British intelligence the journey turns deadly for the men and ships. Caught at sea without defense or war experience, civilian sailors come face to face with the German superior force in the brutal arctic sea. Only 12 ships made it to their destination.

The Arctic Convoy is inspired by one of the biggest dramas that unfolded at sea during World War II.

Listen Up!
Based on the hit novel LISTEN UP! by Gulraiz Sharif, first time director Kaveh Tehrani has created a political comedy with a big heart.

LISTEN UP! is an energetic, relevant and entertaining film about Mahmoud (15) and his journey to help his little sibling Ali to start living as Alia. The film is about integration, gender identity, class and family, and takes place during one hot summer holiday in Oslo. It’s full of Mahmoud’s off-beat observations of the Norwegian middle class and the minorities – which are so rude and precise that you can’t do anything but laugh along.

Munch
Munch brings to the screen the life story of one of the world’s most famous modern painters, Edvard Munch.

Misunderstood by his peers, rejected by the art establishment, wracked with grief over the loss of his younger sister and tortured by addiction, the film captures Munch’s life, painting an intimate and nuanced picture of a unique and multifaceted person and artist. This modern adaptation takes the viewers to four important chapters of his life: the story of Munch’s first love, and the controversy around one of his early exhibitions in Berlin. This is followed by Munch’s admission to a psychiatric clinic, where he was forced to make the biggest decision of his life. Finally, the film shows the artist’s battle at the end of his life to save his works from the Nazis during World War II.

The Riot
The Riot tells the story of the struggle against oppression in the mining town of Sulitjelma, called Sulis, at the beginning of the 20th century. Konrad and the suppressed workers stand together in the revolt against the mining company and its ruthless leader Wennstrøm. The film deals with actual incidents at Norway’s second largest workplace, where the mining company had all the power and where the workers struggled under inhuman conditions in the dangerous and dark mines. This was the Wild West of the Nordic countries. Oppression, slave labor and the brutality of capitalism ended with a revolt that created the Nordic model and the modern society we see today in Scandinavia.
