The India-Sweden Healthcare Innovation Centre is a tripartite collaboration between the Business Sweden, All India Institute of Medical Science Delhi and All India Institute of Medical Science Jodhpur (two prominent hospitals in India), virtually launched its second edition of the healthcare innovation challenge with active participation from ICMR, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare - India, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs - Sweden, AstraZeneca and Nasscom.
The innovation challenge is an opportunity for startups to collaborate with partners on the Innovation Centre platform to help solve some of the problems in the healthcare delivery landscape of India.
This year’s healthcare innovation challenge focuses on solutions within COVID management and solutions for awareness and treatment of cardiovascular, renal, neuro, cancer and lung diseases.
What will Swedish start-ups get:
The Innovation Centre is acting as a growth catalyst for Swedish start-ups through clinical validation, cross country mentorship, networking, funding access and international expansion.
- Clinical validation and data gathering from prominent hospitals in India - AIIMS Jodhpur and AIIMS Delhi
- Product deployment at pilot projects of AIIMS Jodhpur and AstraZeneca across India and globally
- Mentorship from healthcare experts in India and Sweden - AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Delhi, AstraZeneca, Business Sweden and external experts
- Showcase your solutions in India at events hosted by AIIMS Delhi, AIIMS Jodhpur, AstraZeneca and other partner networks
- International Exposure by showcasing your solutions at innovation hubs of AstraZeneca globally across Europe, Asia and South America
- Expand to International Markets including India and other Asian countries, Europe, US and other geographies by leveraging the global network of Business Sweden and AstraZeneca
- Interact and pitch your innovations to the VCs, Angel Investors for attracting investments
- Network with Indian healthcare innovation ecosystem (key hospitals, industry leaders, policy makers)
Applications are open till 10th October 2021. All the applications will undergo a rigorous evaluation process by a panel of experts and include partners like AIIMS Delhi, AIIMS Jodhpur, ICMR, AstraZeneca, NASSCOM, C-Camp, AIM, Invest India and various funding entities.
