The digitalization and advancement in medtech are disrupting healthcare treatment across the globe. The growing tech-savvy populations, rising healthcare spending, and increasing non-communicable diseases are some of the factors driving the medtech demand. In Indonesia, the medical device market is projected to grow by 13.5 per cent (CAGR 2021-2026) or achieve USD 2.2 bn by 2026. As the country has limited upstream medical device industry, it is expected that the sector will rely on import. Similar positive sentiment is also expected from Malaysia, with the medical device market projected to have a 7.3% CAGR (2021-2026) or achieve USD 2.8 bn by 2026 as supported by the country's continued economic and medical tourism recovery and increased health expenditure.
This webinar will present an overview of the healthcare and medtech landscapes in Indonesia and Malaysia as well as explore key opportunities for Swedish companies in both markets. The webinar will also introduce the Sweden-Indonesia Healthcare Summit 2022, which will take place on December 5-9, 2022 and is organized by Team Sweden in Jakarta.
We hope you to see you on September 6, 2022.
