Save the date Explore Rwanda - your next partner in Africa?
Swecare in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden in Kigali, the Embassy of Rwanda in Stockholm and key stakeholders in the Rwandan Healthcare sector welcomes you to join us in this "explore" hybrid event. A great opportunity to get the latest healthcare market insights and information about Rwanda.
Rwanda has had an average of 8% year-on-year real GDP growth rate since 2007, is the second-highest ranked country on the World Bank’s index for Ease of Doing Business in Africa, stable inflation and currency depreciation, and ambitious plans for advancing health care are all facts that contribute to many healthcare stakeholders seeing Rwanda as a great partner in Africa.
E.g. Biontech recently announced that they are setting up vaccine production in Rwanda, that will be up and running in 18-24 months as a regional hub and distributor of vaccines on the continent. There are also plans on setting up a Biotech Park.
The purpose of this hybrid event is to give the participant knowledge about the market, the present business opportunities and regulations in Rwanda.
FACTS ABOUT RWANDA:
- Market of over 12 million people with a growing middle class
- Rwanda is a hub for a rapidly integrating Arica: It is centrally located in the region and is part of East African Community (EAC) Common Market and Customers Union with market potential of over 132 million people. It is also signatory to the 2018 Kigali African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (ACFTA) currently being implemented under the African Union.
We are awaiting confirmations from high-level speakers and will send a detailed invitation shortly.
