We are in the end of Swedens EU presidency and on that topic we would like to get input on a few european markets. Welcome to joins us for some quick market inisights on the political agenda, policy reforms in France, Italy and Spain.
France - is investing heavily in the healthcare sector in the years following the pandemic. Of the invested 19 bn Euros, announced in 2021, 2 bn are dedicated to the digital transformation of healthcare. One of the early results is that France will as of July become one of the first countries in the European Union to reimburse remote medical monitoring solutions under its national health insurance system. Another public investment program; “Health Innovation 2030”, invests 7,5 bn Euro in making France a European leader in research and innovation.
Italy - will invest 15 bn Euros in the next coming years to strengthen, modernize and upgrade it’s national healthcare system and infrastructure. A large part will go to digital healthcare as well as modernizing hospitals and to build new healthcare facilities to expand the healthcare system’s reach in the whole country.
Spain - Large investment programmes are under way in Spain on the back of EU and national funding programmes to enhance capacities in the national health care system, especially in digitalisation and innovation, including the building and integration of health data lakes and driving leading research initiatives in precision medicine.
We will also hear lessons learned and tips from companies on their internationalisation journey.
