Listen Up!
Based on the hit novel LISTEN UP! by Gulraiz Sharif, first time director Kaveh Tehrani has created a political comedy with a big heart.

LISTEN UP! is an energetic, relevant and entertaining film about Mahmoud (15) and his journey to help his little sibling Ali to start living as Alia. The film is about integration, gender identity, class and family, and takes place during one hot summer holiday in Oslo. It’s full of Mahmoud’s off-beat observations of the Norwegian middle class and the minorities – which are so rude and precise that you can’t do anything but laugh along.

Practice
Trine refuses to fly. As she only has a few days to reach a decisive audition 1500km south, the 18-year-old trumpet talent is forced to hitchhike under great time pressure, and her environmental idealism and musical passion are set against each other. Practice is a film that explores resistance to passion, a deeply intimate encounter with music, and the practice of listening to oneself.

The Riot
The Riot tells the story of the struggle against oppression in the mining town of Sulitjelma, called Sulis, at the beginning of the 20th century. Konrad and the suppressed workers stand together in the revolt against the mining company and its ruthless leader Wennstrøm. The film deals with actual incidents at Norway’s second largest workplace, where the mining company had all the power and where the workers struggled under inhuman conditions in the dangerous and dark mines. This was the Wild West of the Nordic countries. Oppression, slave labor and the brutality of capitalism ended with a revolt that created the Nordic model and the modern society we see today in Scandinavia.

Songs of Earth
With Olin's 85-year-old father as a guide, we experience Norway's most scenic valley, Oldedalen in Nordfjord. This is where he grew up and where generations before him have lived in balance with nature. Majestic images of wild mountains, calving glaciers, and bustling wildlife go side by side with the parents' stories about the generations who trod the trails, the relationship we have with nature, and what is valuable in life. The music is composed of unique sound recordings – nature's own melodies, translated and performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra.

Handling the Undead weaves together three families through their loss: Mahler (72) and his daughter, Anna, mourn the too early passing of his grandson; Tora (86) says her final goodbye to her wife at the funeral home; and a family of four face a life without a wife and mother.

Neo’s ambitious mandate is to initiate a generous number of idea/script developments a year, and further develop a range of projects by debutantes within fiction features, series, and documentaries.
