Kristian Landmark
Kristian Landmark graduated from The Norwegian Film School with a master‘s degree in screenwriting. His exam feature film as a writer, As I Fall, was nominated for the Norwegian Amanda Awards in four categories and won several international awards. In 2019 Landmark directed Tønes, a cinema documentary, which was the closing film at The Norwegian Film Festival - a venue he returned to in 2022 with the premiere of the film Norwegian Muskox - Story of An Image, a portrait of artist Sverre Malling.
Landmark has made several short films, documentaries, and dramatized documentaries. He has collaborated with the state broadcaster NRK, which has shown his productions in prime-time slots. Landmark also works as a screenwriter for animated films, currently working with the acclaimed Norwegian animation studio Qvisten. Landmark works as a script consultant, a.o. on the documentary Drone, directed by award-winning director Tonje Hessen Schei. Landmark is a writer for Schei‘s upcoming project, The Upgrade.
