Explore the fabulous Polish capital!

Warsaw is a city that is up and coming, one of Europe’s most interesting cities right now. Poland has a population of 38 million people out of which 1.7 million live in Warsaw. Poland has seen a solid economic growth at around 3,5 % each year and is predicted to remain strong for the next couple of years. By the end of 2015, there were 482 shopping centres operating in Poland (regular shopping centres, retail parks and factory outlet centres) with a total area of 11,024,000 sqm GLA. In Warsaw alone there are over 40 shopping centers.

Join us on a two-day trip where we explore the Polish shopping center and retail market, architecture and food around Warsaw!

We can promise you two busy days with an exciting programme including visits to Warsaw’s most interesting retail hot spots.

Program

Day 1 – Wednesday September 14
Arrival and study visits
  • 09:30 - Arrival at airport

    Transfer from the airport to the Mercure Warsaw Grand Hotel.

  • 10:00 - Welcome and morning coffee

    JLL and the Polish Council of Shopping Centers presents the Polish retail and shopping center market.

  • 12:00 - Arkadia

    Transfer and lunch. Arkadia (Unibail Rodamco), opened in 2004, considered #1 in Warzsaw, newly renovated food court, biggest shopping center in Warzsaw with 190 stores, 30 restaurants and 20 service units.

  • 14:15 - Klif House of Fashion

    Transfer and presentation and walk around at Klif House of Fashion, built before Arkadia, they will tell the story on how they differentiated and transformed themselves after the opening of Arkadia and became an award winning center with 100 stores over 18 000 sqm with an upmarket profile. Renovated 3 years ago.

  • 15:30 - Transfer back to hotel

    Free time.

  • 18:30 - Drinks and dinner

Day 2 – Thursday September 15
Study visits and departure
  • 09:00 - Zlote Tarasy

    A 20 minute walk from the hotel. Visit and presentation of this ”icon” of innercity Warzsaw. Built in 2007 this is a center that has been part of transforming the area around the Central station. With over 200 shops, 40 restaurants, 8 cinemas over 63 500 sqm under a glass roof.  Cushman managed, owned by Unibail/ING REIM.

  • 10:30 - Inner city walk & lunch

    Free time. Walk around inner city shopping streets and the newly renovated central station (independent walk).

  • 13:00 - Galeria Mokótow

    Opened in 2000 and rebuilt/extended 3 times since it opened it is now 68 000 sqm. Galeria Mokótow is considered to be the leading fashion galleria in Poland with 260 stores.

  • 14:30 - Blue City & Reduta Shopping Centre

    Bus to Blue City and Reduta Shopping Centres are located next to each other. Blue City will tell us how they have managed to perform with strong competition through innovative marketing and events. Blue City has over 200 stores located over 6 levels and a newly renovated food court.

  • 16:30 - Transfer to the airport

    Departure.

Pricing Packages

See what you get during study tour. The registration is binding, but may be transferred to another person. VAT will be added to the price. Deadline to register is June 13.

You are welcome to extend your stay in Warsaw or for instance visit the medieval city of Kraków. Please let us know when you register and the travel agency will make arrangements for you. Additonal costs will be added for all extra choices outside the set program.

The prices are valid for travelers from Stockholm. Please let us know when you register if you wish to travel from other cities (i.e Helsinki, Gothenburg, Oslo or Reykjavik) and our travel agency will let you know the price for your flight.
