At Trelleborg Offshore we consider Product Innovation to be of paramount importance. In support of our customers, we constantly seek to better enable our designs with cutting edge polymers, and to evolve our bespoke solutions to perform at every level.

Here at Trelleborg Offshore we are always looking to expand our product portfolio to stay ahead of our customer’s needs. In this edition I would like to showcase Innovations that demonstrate our capabilities to adapt both existing products and introduce new products into the marketplace.

Latest innovation developments

NjordGuard™

NjordGuard™ is an innovative protection system designed and developed to protect offshore windfarm power cables in both monopile and J-tube applications.

Bend Restrictor API

Trelleborg’s offshore operation in the UK has been certified for the design of polyurethane bend restrictors under the American Petroleum Institute’s specification for flexible pipe ancillary equipment.

New Concept Midline Bend Stiffener

We are constantly reviewing the design of our bend stiffeners to remove cost where possible while optimizing product functionality.

Framework agreement with Statoil

Trelleborg’s offshore operation in Norway, signed a framework agreement with Statoil for the supply of Elastopipe™, corrosion protection, Passive Fire Protection (PFP) as well as Thermal Insulatio n (Vikotherm™ R2, S1 and P7). The framework agreement is a global agreement signed for 6 years.
