2015 has been eventful for every TRANSVALOR’s software users. What a great success again!!

FORGE® & THERCAST® user conferences were held on worldwide basis

providing plenty of opportunities to our community for exchanges & discussions about the latest trends of the software.
These meetings are the perfect occasion for end-users to present a large spectrum of applications together with the numerous benefits gained from the software. Our latest newsletter outlined the success of the European edition held in Cannes in June. Let’s read the highlights of the subsequent conferences!

The US edition was held in Chicago in September. ‘The Windy City’ welcomed end-users from the East to the West coast and from Mexico as well. Lots of valuable talks including an end-user presentation aimed at simulating the heat treatment of boron steel grades.

In Italy, the edition in October was part of the International CAE Conference starting with a hands-on session allowing lots of customers to discover FORGE® new graphical user interface. End-users presentations were given in various fields such as ‘production of mechanical fasteners’, ‘large forging over a 100,000 tons press’,  ‘solid lubricants behavior in cold forming’ and ‘simulation linked to the programming of a forging machine and the real manipulator movement’.

In Asia, the Korean edition took place in November in the south province of Gyeongsangnam-Do with a joined FORGE® & THERCAST® conference in association with the Korean Institute of Material Science. Hence, fruitful discussions were conducted about forging & casting demonstrating the benefits of coupling the two software together.

Last but not least, the Japanese edition, in November as well, gathered more than 50 attendees in Tokyo for a one day session. Noticeable end-users contribution included a couple of speeches about ‘Estimation of the porosity closure in cogging process’ and ‘Case study of the cutting-machining process simulation’.

A special thanks to our subsidiary Transvalor Americas Corp. and to our local distributors.
EnginSoft, ForgeMasterKorea and SCSK did a tremendous work in organizing these events.
Another very special thanks to every customer who extensively contributed to the success of these events by sharing their experience and promoting the software through talented end-users presentations.
