Air France / KLM
KLM  will strengthen its position in the Japanese market by operating three additional flights a week between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Tokyo Narita International Airport from November. This raises the total number of Amsterdam-Tokyo flights to ten a week. In so doing, KLM not only strengthens the longstanding ties between the Netherlands and Japan, but also meets demand driven by the many Japanese companies operating in the Netherlands.
 
 
Alitalia
Since July 1st, all Alitalia passengers are allowed to carry only 1 piece of hand luggage onboard which must not exceed 8 kgs weight, instead of 5 kgs. Besides length ( 55 cm) height ( 25 cm) and depth ( 35 cm) are not changed.
 
 
BrusselsAirlines
Brussels Airlines started July 5th, a daily bus service between Amsterdam (via Rotterdam) and Brussels Airport to better serve passengers from The Netherlands travelling to and from Brussels Airport. To ensure timely connections with Brussels Airlines' long haul departures to Africa, the bus will leave Amsterdam at 04:15 in the morning from the Stadionplein opposite the Olympic Stadium, make a short stop in Rotterdam at 05:15 (subway station Capelsebrug) and arrive at 07:15 at Brussels Airport. Arriving passengers travelling to The Netherlands benefit from a morning departure in Brussels at 09:15 to arrive at 11:15 in Rotterdam (subway station Capelsebrug) and 12:15 in Amsterdam (Stadionplein opposite the Olympic Stadium).
Tickets cost 30 euro for a one way trip or 50 euro for a return trip, and can be purchased on www.airportxpress.nl or last minute at the Brussels Airlines ticketing desk in the departure hall at Brussels Airport. The bus arrives and leaves at the back of platform B at the bus station (level 0).
 
 
EasyJet
Lowcost carrier EasyJet will start daily flights from Amsterdam to Barcelona, Berlin and Manchester as from November 1st, 2010
 
 
List of airlines banned within the EU
To improve safety in Europe further, the European Commission – in consultation with Member States’ aviation safety authorities – has updated the list of ban airlines found to be unsafe from operating in European airspace.
